Mainstream Hollywood versions:
~Emma (Gwenyth Paltrow)
~Sense Sensibility (Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson)
~Pride Prejudice (Kiera Knightly)

BBC types
~Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth version - by FAR the best!)http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112130/
~Persuasion (Amanda Root/Cirian Hinds) (my second favorite)

Masterpiece Theater (PBS)
~Sense Sensibility
~Persuasion
~Mansfield Park
~Emma
~Northanger Abbey

For the record, the Kiera Knightly version of PP is kind of crappy when compared with the book. The AE/BBC version with Colin Firth is MUCH, much more true to the tone, spirit and letter of the book. Persausion with Amanda Root is also very close to the book. Sense Sensibility with Emma Thompson is good, though there are some notable differences. The Masterpiece versions were okay, fairly true to the books but had little things that strayed.

Actually, the original Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth is much more accurate. It's 6 hours long, but once you're done, you're ready to watch it again! I highly recommend it.

There is Mansfield Park. I thought it was horrible and would not recommend it at all. I was determined to finish watching it, though I was quite eager for it to end. Never again!

There is Sense and Sensibility. That was an okay movie, not too bad. I watched it a couple of times.

There is also Emma. That was pretty good; it's cute.

Edit: If you have only seen the modern Pride and Prejudice, you may or may not fully enjoy these films. They are not made in (or near) the top glammour of Hollywood.

But I would say to give the movies at least one sincere and decent shot of watching every minute of them all the way through. You never know! Except for Mansfield Park . . . ha ha :P
